Scroll Wedding Invitations part 2

Scroll Wedding Invitations

I would like to showcase some more of my Wedding Scroll Invitation designs.

Wedding Scroll Invitation – Imogen

This is one of my latest designs and a personal favourite of mine.

I love anything that sparkles and this really does sparkle.

Wedding Scroll Invitation – Imogen in Navy and White

This beautiful photograph of Imogen Wedding Invitation Scroll was photographed by Yvonne at White Gold Images

I had the pleasure to meet Yvonne in February when she came up north for a photo shoot.

I met her  through Twitter. She came up with Joyce from www.bridesandbeauty.co.uk ( a wonderful make up artist)

I was telling Yvonne how I struggle with photographs. I can’t catch the details.

Well, that’s why she is a photographer and I’m not! She has a gift, sadly I don’t posses.

She gave me some tips. I did try, but really I thought, ‘leave it to the experts’

Yvonne recently took some photographs for me that will be featured for a brochure.

It’s for Double Tree Hilton in Chester. www.doubletree.hilton.co.uk/chester

I can’t wait to see the pics and maybe one day I’ll get to meet the gorgeous

Marco Pierre White who has a restaurant there.

She also blogged the scrolls on her own site. She wrote some very kind words indeed.

Here’s what she wrote ……….

Close up shot of Wedding Invitation Scroll – Imogen

Yvonne has really captured the detail in this photo.

Wedding Scroll Invitation – Imogen in Pearl White & Red

Wedding Invitation Scroll Imogen in Rose Pink & White

Wedding Invitation Scroll – Melissa

This is a very popular scroll because it incorporates a butterfly. Butterflies are always popular for wedding themes. This wedding invitation scroll can be made in any colour scheme.

The invitation band is made with 2 contrasting satin ribbons. The butterfly is handmade, the antennae is made with wire and tiny seed beads. There is a Swarovski crystal trail.  Scroll boxes come in almost any colour and there’s a choice of either matt or pearlescent finish. The actual invite is printed on a white butterfly vellum paper.

Wedding Invitation Scroll – Melissa in Pearl White

A lot of brides don’t want to write on the insert. I can print the names of your guests for a small charge.

Wedding Invitation Scroll – Melissa in Black and Turquoise

It’s surprising how different Wedding Invitation Scrolls can look when you change the colour scheme. I like this one as I love turquoise.

Wedding Invitation Scroll – Summer

This design is very pretty and perfect for a summer wedding. The band incorporates 2 satin ribbons, swarovski crystals and a gerbera flower with a centre diamante. The flowers come in a variety of colours including burgundy, ivory, white & black.

Wedding Invitation Scroll Baby Blue Gerbera – Summer

This design also looks good in bold colours too.

Wedding Invitation Scroll Fuchsia and Turquoise Gerbera – Summer

It’s July already!

I’m having a very busy month.

I’ve been asked by Double Tree Hilton Hotel Chester to contribute to their blog on a regular basis. How cool is that?

I’ve had 3 products featured this month in Wedding Ideas Magazine.

It’s a very busy time for me for wedding seating plans and matching accessories. Have you ordered yours yet?

Wedding seating plans should always be provisionally booked at least 3 – 6 months before your wedding. Many of the good stationers get booked up months in advance. It’s advisable to enquire early to avoid disappointment. Many couples leave this until 4 weeks before a wedding, only to find it’s too late. I never start a table plan until 4 weeks before a wedding but, I do have wedding seating plans booked in months before.

I rarely take on a last minute table plans as I’m usually booked. Oh, and I hate saying no, sorry I can’t!

This month I’ve made a baby blue butterfly wedding seating plan with matching table cards.

Wedding Seating Plan – blue butterflies.

I love making wedding seating plans. They take almost a full day to print and assemble. If people think they are knocked up in 30 mins, believe me they are not!

The most important part for me is the detail. Butterflies are made so the wings stand up. There is a beautiful swarovski crystal trail. Trimmed with beautiful matching satin ribbon.

Butterfly table plans can be made in 50 colourways.

Baby Blue Butterfly Wedding Seating Plan

Wedding Table Name Cards – blue butterflies

Table names with an Italian theme. Regions in Italy. I lived there many years ago so I recognise the areas.

These were made with the Italian spellings, not English.

Toscana = Tuscany. Sardegna = Sardinia. Sicilia = Silcily etc

Wedding Table Names – blue butterflies

All made to made to match the wedding table plan in baby blue and pearl ivory.

Wedding Seating Plan – silver diamonte hearts and red satin ribbon.

This is one of my favourite designs. I just love sparkle.

This is so blingy. Guests names are printed on a white pearlescent card mounted on red.

Red does seem to be the new in colour for 2012 and 2013

Order of Service – silver diamonte hearts and red satin ribbon

Wedding Table Name Cards.

Wedding Seating Plan – pink bows and crystals

I love pink!

Printed on a white pearlescent card, mounted on baby pink. Trimmed with baby pink tailored bows and crystals. Simple but stylish!

I loved making this one.

Pink is one of my favourite colours. Pink isn’t the most popular colour for weddings despite what people may think. This table plan can be made in any colour of your choice.

Wedding Table Names – pink bows and crystals

Wedding Seating Plan – turquoise and silver butterflies

The colour scheme for this wedding is turquoise and silver. Butterflies are layered so when the wings are lifted, there is a silver butterfly underneath. Turquoise is another favourite colour of mine.

It’s mid July, I’m not finished yet.

I still have a cadbury’s purple butterfly table plan, table cards, place cards, menus, guest book and wedding post box.

Wine & fuchsia double heart table plan, table cards and place cards.

Black and white butterfly table plan.

Photographs to follow.

Butterflies still seem to be the most popular theme for weddings.

Have a good week. Let’s hope the sun shines.

Topsy Turvy Week

Well, it’s been an eventful week to say the least. Had computer problems. Spent most of the week trying to fix. On the upside, I had some on my wedding invitation scrolls photographed by a professional. I was so pleased with the results my computer disaster faded in the background.

I’ve always wanted my products to be shown in their true beauty, but I can never quite capture it. Photography is not my forte. I’ll leave that to the professionals. Many brides have told me my wedding invitation scrolls  look 1,000 times better in the flesh.  I’m glad they are happy with the products. It’s better to have something they expected rather than something that had been enhanced so much, it doesn’t compare to the real thing. So, what do I do? Photographs that are understated, or photographs that show the true picture? I went for the true picture and wasn’t disappointed.

Wedding Scroll Invitation – Aqua & White – Megan

Wedding Scroll Invitation Megan in aqua

Wedding Scroll Invitation – Megan

I love these colours I’m a big fan of pastel shades. There are not many pink weddings these days, anything pastel I adore. I love this design. It’s so pretty. This is  by far, my most requested design. It can be made in many colourways. The feather and swarovski crystals just give it a special touch.

Wedding Scroll Invitation – Champagne Gold – Emma

Weding Invitation Scroll - Ella

This is my latest design. I’ve called it Emma.

I love the horseshoe buckle, so sparkly. Horseshoes are a tradition meaning ‘good luck’. What better way to start your future married life, you can’t go wrong. Emma can be made in any colour of your choice. A pearlescent box and matching insert give it the feel of sheer luxury.

Your wedding invitations are the first glimpse your guests will have of your ideas & expectations for your big day, which is why we have designed a stunning choice of traditional & contemporary stationery ranges designed to suit all colour schemes.

Wedding Invitation Scroll – Navy – Imogen

I truly love this design. So sparkly. We girls all love bit of bling. If you want to make a statement, this is for you. A truly luxurious invitation.

This invitation comes in a pearlescent box, with matching insert and rsvp. It can be made in any colour of your choice. It’s a real statement piece.

Wedding Invitation Scroll – Ivory – Elegance

Wedding Invitation Scroll Ivory Elegance

Elegance scroll was original made with just gold and silver satin scroll boxes. I recently had an request for the Elegance design, but with a pearl ivory scroll box. The beauty of this is, I can take one design and incorporate colours from a different design. You don’t have to have what is  on the site. I can tailor to your needs. This invitation comes with a matching RSVP insert printed on an ivory pearlescent paper.

This particular invitation was made with just a hint of silver. The scroll band incorporates an ivory satin ribbon, a narrow silver satin ribbon, a silver heart diamante buckle, finished with 4 tiny swarovski crystals. The insert and matching rsvp insert were printed on an ivory pearlescent paper in a silver font. Trimmed with an ivory satin bow and 2 heart diamantes. I think the colours are beautiful. A very classy invitation.

Pretty in Pink

This week I’ve made a table plan, table cards and place cards in a gorgeous baby pink and ivory. The accessories compliment the post box and guest book.

Jane & Rebecca contacted me back in February. They are having a civil ceremony in July. They are from my home town of Liverpool. I spoke to Jane on the telephone whilst Rebecca made a list of everything she wanted. I had to laugh, I heard Jane say, ‘Becs you can’t have everything that is on her site’

They are very excited about their day and I’m so glad I have been part of it. It’s lovely to hear the enthusiasm in their planning. I spoke to Jane on Sunday just before I started the table plan. She can talk for England, bit like me. Liverpudlians are always the same when they get together. We discussed the table plan, our animals, places in Liverpool. I feel like I know them.

Jane admitted she has turned into Bridezilla!

I know they are planning a blog after their day. A guide on services and customer service they received. I will share it with you at a later date. She told me about a funny incident with one supplier. They are to provide champagne flutes but could only find Mr & Mrs. Jane said, ‘Buy 2 sets then’. The suppleir said, ‘well we’ve not had a civil partnership before so don’t know what to do. I agreed buy 2 sets you will then be prepared for the next civil partnership. I did point out. I think people are afraid of offending people if they ask questions. Jane pointed out, it easier to just ask. I wonder how many suppliers out there are afraid of just asking, ‘how everything should be done’?

Butterfly Table Plan in pink & ivory

The wedding table plan was trimmed with baby pink satin ribbon top and bottom. I made pink tables printed on an ivory pearlescent card. I incorporated layered butterflies in pink and ivory keeping in with the colour scheme. I layered the butterflies, pink for top, ivory underneath. When you lift up the wings the ivory can be seen. I made them with pearlescent card to give them a shimmer. I finished of with gorgeous swarovski crystal trails.

Butterfly Table Names in pink & ivory

pink ivory butterfly table cards

Here we have matching table cards. The names were after place they had visited in America. The top table being universal after universal studios. I’m told these will sit in glass slippers. Wow!

Butterfly Place Cards in pink & ivory

pink ivory butterfly place cards

Finally the wedding place cards. Printed on an ivory pearlescent card, trimmed with layered butterflies and crystals.

I do hope they like everything! I will be making 2 personalised wedding reading scrolls in matching colours. They are going to present them to their readers after the event, as a little keepsake

If you would like to follow me on facebook, please do. Come along and say hi.
